Our company is authorized by the PUC of Texas to provide local telephone services statewide. If you live in the State of Texas and your local telephone Company is AT&T (SBC), Verizon (GTE), Embarq (Sprint) or Windstream (Valor), we can provide your service too. Let us show you how we can provide the same quality of service and better customer service than you have today and SAVE you money too.

Residental Service:

Tele-One Communications, Inc. provides local telephone service to people who have been denied service or do not wish to purchase service from their local Bell telephone company. This service is provided on a prepaid basis so there are no deposits required and no credit checks. The basic offering includes unlimited local calling, access to toll free 800 and 888 numbers and 911 emergency. You may establish long distance service with the provider of your choice. Many of our clients prefer to use prepaid long distance calling cards available everywhere.

Cost of service is divided into two categories; processing fees and monthly service fees. The initial processing fee includes line connection, account establishment and reconnection of service. Primary Service is priced at $36 or less plus all applicable taxes. Standard monthly service is typically $51.00 or less including all taxes and fees. Calling features such as Call Waiting, Non-Published Number, and Caller ID are available at additional cost. Pricing does vary by area and features selected. Be sure to contact us day or night for pricing in your area. Like all telephone services, monthly service fees are billed in advance. Reconnection of service is available if your service has been interrupted.

Tele-One is located in Tyler Texas. Clients are encouraged to visit our offices to establish their service. Other areas may order service on the telephone or the internet. Initial payment may be made using a credit or debit card over the phone. Others may choose to make a Western Union Swift Pay Payment. Swift Pay payment services at Western Union only cost $6.00. The Western Union system provides the convenience our customers demand by enabling them to process their cash payments electronically. Over 20,000 locations across the U.S. accept our customers payments. We will process your order the same day that we receive your payment and information. No other service will work harder to get your service established than we will.

Tele-One PrePaid Telephone Terms of Service

Please read this over and place it in the front of your telephone book for future reference. Should you have questions about our service please call our office.
I. General Information
 A.   Your Primary Service consists of:
  1.  Local Service - You may place and receive local telephone calls.
  2.  Long Distance Receiving - You may only receive long distance.
  3.  800/888 - You may place these calls.
  4.  911 - You may place these calls.
 B.   Your primary Service will not allow:
   1.  Long Distance Calling
   2.  Collect Long Distance Receiving
   3.  900/976 Area Code Calls
   4.  Operator Assistance - Usage Sensitive calls such as directory assistance.
II.  Moving Your Service or Disconnecting Your Service
 A.   Moving - Call 531-0777. You will be asked to provide your name, old address, telephone number, new address and the date that you will move. If you are moving to a location that Tele-One is a service provider, and you are current with payment, Tele-One will be pleased to continue your service. Any move may require a number change and will require additional charges.
 B.   Disconnecting - You will be asked to provide your name and forwarding address
III. Billing And Payment
 A.   Billing - A statement will be sent to you monthly and generally before the 1st day of each month. The statement is for service to be provided that month.
 B.   Payment - Your payment is required on or before the due date on the statement which usually is the 1st day of the month.
 C.   Method And Place Of Payment
You may mail your payment, a return envelope is included with your billing. You may pay in person at our offices at 1515 W SW Loop 323 in Tyler Texas. You may pay with Cash, Check, Money Order, Mastercard/Visa or Western Union Swift Pay. Call 903-531-0777 should you have questions regarding your bill.
 D.   Late Payments - If you cannot pay your bill by the due date call 903-531-0777 immediately. Tele-One may, but in no way shall be obligated, to help make arrangements for payments. Your telephone service will be disconnected because of late payments without prior arrangements. To restore service all past due amounts must be paid. You may be required to make a deposit or advance payment. A reconnect charge will be made.
 E.   Dissatisfaction - To help resolve problems with your service or billing you are encouraged to come by the offices, call or write: Tele-One Communications, Inc., P. O. Box 7037, Tyler, Texas 75711-7037, 903-531-0777. Further rights to file a formal complaint may be made to: Public Utilities Commission of Texas, P. O. Box 13326, Austin, Texas 78711-3326, 512-936-7120.
 F.   Assignment - This contract for service may not be assigned or transferred.
IV.  Repair Service - Call 903-531-0777
 A.   Outside Your Home - Repairs will be made at no charge to you. Important Note: Make every effort to verify that the problem is not inside your home to avoid a service charge. Tele-One has contracts with “SWBT”, “Verizon”, "Valor", or “Sprint” which are obligated to service repairs outside your home. If the problem is determined to be inside your home a charge will apply.
 B.   Inside your Home - Tele-One will not repair lines inside your home. You may call us at the above number for references to third-party repair services. Tele-One shall not be liable for any claims arising from any referral given by Tele-One hereinunder.
 V.   About Tele-One
 Tele-One Communications, Inc. is a reseller of telephone service as authorized by the Public Utility Commission of the State of Texas. Pursuant to the Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the agreements Tele-One and SWBT, Verizon, Valor, and Sprint have established terms for the Purchase of Telecommunications service by Tele-One from each carrier. Tele-One is pleased to provide you with certain of these services as set forth in Article I herein. The offices of Tele-One are located at 1515 W SW Loop 323, Tyler, Texas 75701.
 VI.  Limitation Of Liability
Tele-One’s liability, if any, shall not exceed an amount equivalent to the proportionate charge to the Customer, that is reimbursed by SWBT, Verizon, Valor, or Sprint to Tele-One for any period of service during which a mistake, omission, interruption, delay, error, or defect in transmissions or service to Tele-One under any agreement between the parties. Tele-One, in no event shall be responsible for any special, indirect, consequential or exemplary damages. Tele-One shall in no way be liable for any willful or negligent act of SWBT, Verizon, Valor, or Sprint that results in damages or claims, caused by mistakes, omissions, interruptions, delays, errors, or defects in transmissions or service.

The Customer agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Tele-One from any loss arising out of SWBT’s, GTE’s, or Sprint’s provision of 911 service or out of the undersigned use of the 911 service, including any personal injury or death of any person, except for loss which is the direct result of Tele-One’s own neglect or willful misconduct.

You the Customer shall be responsible for any damage to Tele-One, SWBT, Verizon, Valor, or Sprint equipment or facilities caused by your actions.
