A general AO
photo and I have no idea where. It may have been a shot of the A Shau from my
time up north with the 101st but can't swear to it. You see one jungle, you've
seen them all.
An awards
ceremony, definitely 134th. That was the tarmac area just outside of the company
HQ. Remember the hot pad? I don't have any names to go with the faces but maybe
Arvine does. This was taken, probably, June or July of 69.
A shot of
me, sitting, two AF pukes that were ride-alongs and, I think, the crew chief.
Thems were the days when I flew slicks. You can see the 134 on the door.
The Bn O
club, as you can see. I sent this one mainly for the patches on the wall. I
don't remember who was who but there are their patches. Of course, it also
showed we didn't always play war games.
A general
shot facing south towards the Company HQ. See the message board? I think the
hootch to the left of the picture was the supply room but my memory isn't too
good on that.
